The M60 is an orbital motorway in Manchester. It is the UK's only full-circle motorway.
History[]
The motorway was completed in 2000 as a consolidation of the M63, M62 and the M66. The remaining motorway was completed in October 2000. Taking into account the motorways which the M60 replaced, the motorway was built over a period of 46 years. It was the last motorway to be built with public money.
