The M6 Toll, also known on signs as the Midlands Expressway, is a toll motorway that goes from Chelmsley Wood, near Coventry, to Cannock, Staffordshire. It is the only privatised motorway in the United Kingdom. It was designed to be a Birmingham relief road, going around the north of Birmingham rather than near the city centre like the M6 does.
It was made to get more cars to drive on the toll road, but today, the M6 Toll is quite a quiet motorway, but useful if you want a speedy and quiet journey, especially if your destination is the North West.
